CISCO Systems, Inc. is the worldwide leader in networking for the internet.  Today, networks are an essential part of business, education, government and personal communications and CISCO's Internet Protocol-based networking solutions form the foundation of this infrastructure.  It is essential that CISCO have a seamless approach to project delivery across their global partnerships.

The Approach
ARCADIS AYH in partnership with ARCADIS Worldwide Project Consulting were appointed as project and cost management partners in March 2006 following a competitive RFI and RFP process. 

ARCADIS AYH was recognised for their global project leadership supported by local, on the ground, know-how which suits the local regulations, customs and practices; a seamless, consistent and transparent approach to delivering international project management services. 

Our work with CISCO is driven by a combination of coverage and experience.  The extensive reach of the ARCADIS WwPC network offers coverage in 85% of the CISCO countries. Our strong track record of working with similar American corporates across EMEA enhances our understanding of CISCO's operations.

Working in partnership with CISCO, ARCADIS AYH has been appointed on two key strategic fields:

Agreement of a PM Framework: Harnessing our global network to develop a framework agreement for PM services on all capital projects.  The agreement will cover all 50 countries in CISCO's European and Emerging Markets.

Project Procurement Management: Operating closely with CISCO our "Project Procurement Management Team" supports the CISCO Design & Construction Managers in all aspects of project procurement and on-going monitoring of project delivery, including specifically RFP strategy and process, appointment services and E-projects data management and monitoring.

The Result
The Project Procurement Management team has become firmly embedded within CISCO's Real Estate department, working in conjunction with their long-term real estate strategy.

From setting up new locations, office expansions and reconfigurations, to Client facing space and technical/engineering projects we have already facilitated the delivery on many of CISCO's capital projects.
