The challenge
Provision of estimating services to assist UKAEA in the preparation of Life Cycle Base Line's and (LCBL) ) and Near Term Work Plan (NTWP).

The Life Cycle Baseline establishes the scope of work, the programme for completing the work, and costs for the complete decommissioning of the Harwell site until the year 2015.

The NTWP documents the scope of work, the programme and the costs (in more detail than the LCBL) for a period of three years.

The approach
Working closely with Project Managers and Planners, ARCADIS AYH's Infrastructure sector (formally Berkeley Consulting) have played a key role in the development of the LCBL/NTWP. 

The result
Estimating services of consistently high standard delivered often under very demanding deadlines, all of which have been met. Production and completion of the estimated Life Cycle Baseline document for submission to the document for Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in accordance with government timetables.
